We are delighted that you are considering Dean Church of England School for your child. We have capacity for 105 children between the ages of 2 and 11. Our annual Reception intake is 15. You can find our Admissions Policy on our policies page.

To make sure that our school is right for you and your child please make an appointment to talk to us further; it may be possible to come and see us and have a look round. 

Applications for Reception need to be made online via Cumberland Council by 15th January each year. The Local Authority will allocate places and inform parents of their decision in April. Please click here to visit the Schools Admissions page of Cumberland Council.

Mid-Year Transfers

Dean Church of England School does have available spaces in most year groups for those moving into the area or wishing to transfer from another school. However we are only able to admit new pupils at the start of a new term, unless the move is due to a house move or other exceptional circumstances.  If you wish to enquire about a place during the course of the school year, please call us on 01946 861408.
